– What new products is your company showcasing at IBC2024?
We are a streaming media software company, and at this event, we’re very excited to present and continue showcasing our VisualOn Optimizer, which is a content-adaptive encoding solution that significantly reduces video bitrate. We’re also very proud that we won the Product of the Year award at this year’s NAB. Recently, we published a joint white paper with Intel about the VisualOn Optimizer integrated with Intel technologies.
With VisualOn Optimizer, you can reduce video bitrate and enhance the video delivery and storage process without changing your encoder or any production workflows. This really helps companies reduce costs while improving the user experience. It’s also beneficial for the environment because of the reduced data transmission. Less data means less energy is required to move it, and on the client side, lower video bitrates mean decoding requires less battery power.

We also announced a new product on the client side called Ad Insertion SDK. This supports different modes of advertisement, including server-side insertion and client-side insertion, as well as server guiding. It works with any current players, so it’s not tied to our specific players.

The way we see it in the industry, it’s very challenging to generate profits in this environment. Improving a company’s bottom line by reducing operational costs while generating more revenue is crucial. On the monetization side, we help companies by enabling more effective ads, and on the operational side, we improve efficiency by reducing costs.
