ZEISS: New FW1.90 Firmware for Lenses and ARRI Cameras

The latest firmware update, FW1.90, for ZEISS Supreme Prime, Supreme Prime Radiance, and CP.3 XD lenses now allows automatic transfer of lens scale and depth of field information to selected ARRI cameras and hand units.

This compatibility includes the ARRI Hi-5 and WCU-4 hand units.

Compatibility with ARRI Cameras

FW1.90’s scale and depth of field transmission capabilities are compatible with the following ARRI cameras and software versions when used with the ARRI Hi-5 or WCU-4:

  1. ARRI Alexa 35:
    • PL mount version 1.96 in Alexa 35 SUP 1.2.3
    • LPL mount version 1.52 in Alexa 35 SUP 1.2.3
  2. ARRI Alexa Mini LF:
    • PL mount version 1.96 in Alexa Mini LF SUP 7.3
    • LPL mount version 1.52 in Alexa Mini LF SUP 7.3
