Following the successful launch of the MOLUS G60 and MOLUS X100 in April, along with the MOLUS G200 and FIVERAY V60 during the summer, ZHIYUN has once again expanded its FIVERAY series with the introduction of the compact M20 and M20C models.
Key Features of ZHIYUN FIVERAY M20 and M20C The ZHIYUN FIVERAY M20 and M20C are compact, square-shaped LED lights, each measuring 7.8 x 7.8 x 3.6 cm (3.07 x 3.07 x 1.41 inches) and weighing 200g (0.44lb). Both models boast a maximum power output of 20W.
The FIVERAY M20 is a dual-color light, adjustable from 2700K to 6500K, with a top output of 529lx at a distance of 1 meter (3 feet). ZHIYUN states that the M20 has a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 95 and a Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) of 97. It also features ten special effects, including CCT loop, Strobe, Candle, and Bad Bulb.
Conversely, the M20C is an RGB light that ranges from 2500K to 10,000K, offering a similar light output. This model includes HSI and RGB color modes, but has a slightly lower CRI of 94 and TLCI of 96, despite having Green-Magenta adjustment options, which are absent in the M20. The M20C comes with 16 different lighting effects.
Both lights are equipped with a built-in fan, dual control knobs, a small display for status updates, and an integrated battery at the rear. The battery allows for up to 40 minutes of use at full power and 80 minutes at half power. Additionally, the lights can be recharged through a USB-C port located on the top.
In terms of control, the FIVERAY M20C can be managed using the ZY Vega APP and also supports Bluetooth Mesh control, enabling the grouping of multiple lights for coordinated control.
Accessories The FIVERAY M20 and M20C each include an extension bracket featuring three cold shoe mounts and a hot shoe with a 1/4″-20 thread.
At the front of these lights, magnetic attachments allow for the optional addition of a diffuser, honeycomb grid, and four-leaf barndoors, providing enhanced control over the light beam.
