Ambient Launches New Slimmer QuickPole Model for Enhanced Audio Recording

Ambient has recently unveiled the QuickPole Slim, a new addition to their popular QuickPole series.

This model stands out due to its slimmer design with a diameter of just 30mm, making it exceptionally comfortable to handle. The Slim variant is designed with one less segment compared to its predecessors.

User-Inspired Improvements
Following feedback from users who appreciated the 4-segment QS Line but desired a more slender version, Ambient developed the QuickPole Slim. This model retains the beloved features of the QP5 series while introducing several enhancements.

Key Enhancements Over QP5 Series:

  • Reduced Diameter: The Slim model boasts a thinner diameter of 30mm, compared to the regular 34mm of the QP5 series.
  • Lighter Build: With one fewer segment, the QuickPole Slim is notably lighter.
  • Enhanced Locks: The improved locking mechanism now ensures that a quarter turn is enough to prevent any lateral twisting.
  • Stylish Black Tip: The pole features an elegant black tip, adding to its sleek appearance.

Two Size Options

The QuickPole Slim is offered in two different lengths, catering to various recording needs.

Advanced Materials for Durability and Lightness
Like its predecessors in the QuickPole Series 5, the Slim is crafted from a custom-made carbon fiber compound with additional UHM fiber layers. This construction ensures both high durability and light weight.

Innovative Extension and Locking Mechanism
The new model incorporates a Teflon sheet and silicone-lubricated felt for smooth extension and retraction. Its locking mechanism is highly efficient, securing the pole in place with just a quarter turn and effectively preventing any lateral movement.

Ergonomic Handle Design
The long handle sleeves of the QuickPole Slim are ribbed, providing sound recordists with a firm and comfortable grip during use.
