Blackmagic Camera 1.4: Cloud Support and Off-Speed Recording

Blackmagic Design has released the Blackmagic Camera 1.4 Update, which introduces several new features and improvements.

The update now allows organizations to record projects directly to Blackmagic Cloud, making it easier to manage and collaborate on projects.

Recording Off-Speed Video Clips

Users can now record off-speed video clips, providing greater flexibility in video recording.

HDMI Output Enhancements

The update includes support for frame guides, safe areas, and other options on the HDMI output. Additionally, it supports a 2.76:1 frame guide overlay.

Screen Dimming Feature

Users can now swipe right to dim the screen while recording, enhancing usability.

Customizable Grid Overlay Opacity

The update allows users to customize the opacity of the grid overlay, improving the user experience.

Bug Fixes

The update addresses an issue where the audio input source could automatically reset to None in some cases. It also fixes an incorrect image preview when the anamorphic de-squeeze option is enabled.
