Hi, my name is Bob Boster, and I’m the President of Clear-Com. I’m speaking to you from our booth at ISE 2024 in Barcelona. Thank you for your time. You might recognize Clear-Com as a historic producer of intercom solutions designed to facilitate communication for production tasks across various domains, including television programming, video production, live performances, events, and many other activities that require real-time communication to achieve objectives.
TKT1957: What are the main trends of ISE 2024, in your opinion?
Bob: ISE 2024 focuses on a diverse range of applications within audiovisual fields, encompassing all the markets and use cases I’ve mentioned. We offer a broad spectrum of products, including wired, wireless, and IP solutions, all centered on enabling effective communication. Many of our users integrate these technologies to build comprehensive systems that meet their communication needs.
TKT1957: What new products is your company showcasing at ISE 2024?
Bob: This year at ISE, we’re excited to introduce a new, cloud-based intercom system called Gen-IC. Gen-IC leverages cloud server functionality to support our award-winning Agent-IC and Station-IC applications, facilitating a fully virtual intercom experience. Additionally, Gen-IC can connect to hardware intercom systems, including our own and those from other manufacturers, using standard protocols like four-wire and two-wire connections through our LQ product.
TKT1957: What are the main directions of development most characteristic in your segment of the industry?
Bob: Gen-IC represents a significant advancement in communication technology, offering flexibility and new possibilities for cloud-based operations.
