Mutiny's Sony FX3 R/S Cables for Wireless Systems

These cables are specifically designed to facilitate the connection between various wireless follow focus systems and the Sony FX3. Compatible systems include those from ARRI, Preston, Teradek RT, C-MOTION, and others.

Functionality and Compatibility
These cables are essential for users who need to connect their Sony FX3 camera to a wireless FIZ (focus, iris, zoom) system like Preston, ARRI, Teradek RT, C-Motion, Tilta Nucleus, among others. The Mutiny FX3 R/S Input Cables act as an interface between the standard Fischer 3 cable of these systems and the Sony MULTI-TERMINAL, enabling camera triggering. Each cable features a Fischer 3 female connector on one end and a Sony multi-terminal connector on the other.

Requirements for Use
For the effective operation of these cables, the user’s FIZ system must have a compatible Fischer 3 R/S cable. The specific requirements vary based on the system:

Preston Cinema Systems need the ID: 4799 cable (for the current system) or 4521 for MDR2.
Tilta Nucleus systems require the RS-03-AM cable.
Teradek RT MK3.1 systems need the MFR #11-1357 ARRI R/S Fischer 3 Camera Control Cable.
ARRI HI5 systems necessitate a 7pin CAM to Fischer 3 R/S cable.

Technical Note
It’s important to note that these adapter cables do not transmit power. The pin configuration is as follows: PIN 1 = GROUND, PIN 2 = NC, PIN 3 = R/S.
