Accsoon Launches SeeMo 4K HDMI Adapter

Accsoon Expands iOS Device Monitoring Options with SeeMo 4K HDMI Adapter Launch

Accsoon has expanded its lineup of monitoring solutions for iOS devices with the release of the SeeMo 4K HDMI adapter.

This new device enables users to record 4K video at a variable bit rate of 20Mbps directly onto their iOS device’s camera roll. Additionally, it supports 4K UHD live streaming on popular platforms. The UHD 4K input enhances the resolution for critical focus assessments during zoom operations. The SeeMo 4K also introduces features such as vertical video mode, Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) for live streaming, look-up table (LUT) integration, and more.

Evolution of SeeMo Products

Following the original HD SeeMo’s debut in 2022 and the subsequent launch of the SeeMo Pro in 2023, Accsoon has now introduced the SeeMo 4K. This latest version allows iPhones (iPhone 8 and newer) and iPads to act as high-resolution on-camera monitors with 4K streaming capabilities. To use, simply connect the SeeMo 4K to the camera using an HDMI cable, link the iOS device via the provided Lightning or USB-C cable, and initiate the Accsoon SEE app.

Live Streaming Made Simple

The SeeMo 4K streamlines the process of live streaming by allowing users to broadcast high-resolution video directly to social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok using a 4K camera, the SeeMo 4K adapter, and an iPhone. The device is powered by a Sony NP-F type battery, which can also recharge the connected iPhone or iPad. An additional USB-C output enables the powering of low-power USB devices, including microphones.

Product Features Overview

Compact and portable, the SeeMo 4K facilitates professional-grade monitoring, recording, and live streaming from a camera to an iPhone via the Accsoon SEE app. It supports video input resolutions up to 2160p across various frame rates, displaying the footage with low latency similar to traditional monitors. While the device includes an SD card reader for file transfers, direct recording to the SD card from the SeeMo 4K is not supported.

Videos are recorded in the H.264 format with a bitrate of up to 20 Mbps and are stored directly on the iPhone’s camera roll for easy sharing. The connection between the SeeMo 4K and the iPhone also ensures that internet access remains uninterrupted for streaming and content uploading.

Enhancements in SEE App

The latest update to the SEE App introduces several new functionalities:

  • Options for 90-degree, 180-degree, or 270-degree video rotation, catering to the needs of social media enthusiasts who prefer vertical videos.
  • The capability to apply a custom LUT to Log-encoded footage before it is recorded or streamed.
  • For those with sophisticated calibration equipment, a secondary calibration LUT feature is provided for enhanced color accuracy. This function works independently from any creative LUTs in use.
  • Integration of the SRT protocol for advanced users who require high-quality, low-latency video streams.
Pricing and Availability

The SeeMo 4K is priced at $179 and will be available for purchase from authorized Accsoon dealers starting in April 2024.
