WorldCast Systems has launched the Audemat FM/HD Probe, a new monitoring system for FM and HD Radio broadcasts.
The company says the Audemat FM/HD Probe is built to help broadcasters track signal quality, compliance, and on-air performance. It is designed for HD broadcasters that need one system to monitor FM, RDS, and HD1, HD2, and HD3 channels.
WorldCast Systems Audemat FM/HD Probe for FM and HD Radio
WorldCast Systems says the Audemat FM/HD Probe supervises FM and HD Radio services in one platform. The system monitors signal presence, audio levels, metadata integrity, and alignment between analog and digital paths.
As a result, broadcasters can check whether services stay consistent across platforms. The company says this helps teams maintain a smoother listener experience.

The Audemat FM/HD Probe also includes NRSC mask monitoring and real-time spectrum analysis. WorldCast Systems says these tools help engineers verify compliance and spot out-of-tolerance conditions more quickly.
In addition, the system measures FM and HD alignment. According to the company, this helps broadcasters keep analog and digital signals in sync and reduce audio delay differences.

WorldCast Systems says the unit also supports real-time audio streaming and recording for FM and HD services. Therefore, operators can check on-air content remotely, review alarms, and monitor performance without traveling to the site.
The company also says the system sends alarm notifications by email and SNMP. As a result, teams can respond faster when the probe detects problems.

WorldCast Systems says the Audemat FM/HD Probe uses a web-based interface and supports remote access. The company designed it for use at studios, transmitter sites, and off-air monitoring locations.
According to WorldCast Systems, the hardware platform is compact and built for professional broadcast use. The company also says the unit is designed to fit more easily into existing workflows.
Julien Libeau on the Audemat FM/HD Probe
Julien Libeau, Business Developer Manager at WorldCast Systems USA, said HD Radio continues to grow in the U.S. market. He said broadcasters therefore need accurate and reliable tools for signal integrity and regulatory compliance.

Libeau also said the Audemat FM/HD Probe is designed to give engineers a monitoring system that is both powerful and easy to use. He added that the goal is to simplify HD supervision while maintaining strong performance and accuracy.
