Telos Alliance Axia Pulsar AoIP Console at NAB Show 2026

Telos Alliance will show the new Axia Pulsar AoIP console at NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas. The company will feature the system at Booth C1819 during the April 18–22 event.

Axia Pulsar is a compact mixing surface for spaces where a hardware console is still needed but room is limited. Telos Alliance positions it for smaller studios, newsrooms, sports venues, and remote broadcasts.

Compact Console for Smaller Spaces

The main Pulsar surface includes eight motorized faders and a touchscreen-based monitor section. Users can expand the console to 16 faders with an optional eight-channel expansion unit.

The expansion unit can be attached to the main surface or installed in a split configuration. As a result, the system can adapt to different studio layouts and workflow needs.

Remote Control and Monitoring

Telos Alliance also offers an optional browser-based HTML5 control layer called Pulsar Soft. It allows users to control Pulsar consoles from a computer or tablet.

The package also includes Pulsar Cast for remote audio monitoring. Therefore, users can manage the console and monitor audio without being tied to the hardware surface.

StudioCore Engine

Pulsar runs on the Axia StudioCore integrated console engine. This 2RU unit combines the console power supply, a dedicated five-port AoIP network switch, audio I/O, and the mixing engine in one rack-mounted package.

The Pulsar mixing engine uses Axia GEN2 technology. Telos Alliance first introduced that technology in Quasar Engine 4.0. The company says Pulsar therefore carries over the audio processing quality and performance used in the Quasar XR and SR consoles.

Comments from Telos Alliance

Luca La Rosa, Senior Project Manager, said the company developed Axia Pulsar after hearing from customers who wanted a compact console for smaller applications that was easy to install and configure. He also said Telos Alliance did not want to reduce audio quality, features, or performance, so the team looked to the Axia Quasar XR and SR consoles for guidance.

Cam Eicher, Senior Vice President of Audio Production, said the small-console market has changed in recent years. He added that, although many customers are interested in virtualized systems, demand remains for a compact hardware mixer with strong performance.

According to Eicher, Pulsar also fits into a wider Livewire+ AES67 environment. He said the console works with Axia Quasar XR and SR, Telos VX broadcast phone systems, the Telos Infinity IP intercom platform, and Axia Pathfinder Core PRO.

Availability

Telos Alliance will present Axia Pulsar at Booth C1819 during NAB Show 2026. The company says the console will be available for sale in the fourth quarter of 2026.
