At NAB Show 2026, Harmonic will present updates to its video appliances and SaaS portfolio.
At Booth W2831, the company will focus on a next-generation media server, AI workflow tools, and new streaming and monetization features. Harmonic says these updates will simplify video operations and lower costs across broadcast and streaming environments.
Harmonic says its NAB Show 2026 lineup is aimed at broadcasters, streamers, and service providers. The company wants to help them reduce workflow complexity, improve monetization, and strengthen live and on-demand delivery.
Harmonic at NAB Show 2026 with video appliances
Harmonic will introduce the next generation of its Spectrum X media server at NAB Show 2026. The company says the new system simplifies ingest and playout while lowering the total cost per channel for broadcast delivery.

Harmonic will also highlight its XOS Advanced Media Processor. The company says XOS helps broadcasters move to DTV+ and ATSC 3.0 or shift away from C-Band spectrum.
According to Harmonic, XOS combines playout, encoding, and DTV+ and ATSC delivery in one appliance. Broadcasters can deploy it in headends and at affiliate sites.

Gil Rudge, Senior Vice President of Solutions and Americas Sales for Harmonic’s Video Business, said the company is bringing practical and deployable solutions to NAB Show 2026. He said Harmonic wants to help media companies reduce total cost of ownership, improve revenue opportunities, and work more effectively in an IP- and AI-driven market.

Harmonic will also present new developments in its hybrid and SaaS streaming portfolio. The company says it will show its first large production deployment of VOS Media Software on Red Hat OpenShift.
Harmonic says this deployment advances its hybrid streaming model. It supports central management across private and public cloud environments.
The company will also show what it describes as the first production deployment of server-side in-stream advertising by a leading U.S. regional sports network. Harmonic says the system can trigger in-stream ads automatically during live games without interrupting viewing.
In addition, Harmonic says VOS360 Media SaaS now supports a new in-house server-side multiview solution. The company says users can combine this with in-stream advertising to monetize multiview channels and increase revenue.
Harmonic at NAB Show 2026 with AI workflows
Harmonic will introduce a new AI orchestration service at NAB Show 2026. The company says this service aggregates, coordinates, maintains, and updates third-party and in-house AI functions.
According to Harmonic, the service manages AI-based processing for live content, handles redundancy, and synchronizes outputs. The company also says users can configure and schedule AI functions through a user interface.
Harmonic says the AI orchestration service works with VOS360 Media SaaS, VOS Media Software, XOS media processor, and the next-generation Spectrum X. The company describes the service as broadcast-grade, resilient, and secure.
Harmonic AI upscaling and conference session
Harmonic says its AI service also supports server-side HD-to-UHD upscaling with NVIDIA GPU acceleration. The company says this feature improves video quality on 4K displays when production remains in full HD.
Harmonic also says Moore Macauley, CTO of Harmonic’s Video Business Unit, will speak about AI in broadcast and streaming workflows at the Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference on Saturday, April 18.
