Atomos has introduced the A-Eye Controller Pro, a new desktop PTZ controller built for multi-camera production.
The company says the system is designed for broadcasters, live event teams, studios, and content creators that need faster and more precise camera control.
According to Atomos, the new controller is aimed at productions that now operate with more cameras and more complex workflows. As a result, the company positions the A-Eye Controller Pro as a tool for simpler and more scalable PTZ operation.
Atomos A-Eye Controller Pro for multi-camera control
Atomos says the A-Eye Controller Pro supports NDI, VISCA, VISCA-IP, Pelco, and P&D protocols. Therefore, operators can use it across a wide range of camera systems.
The company also says users can control up to 254 PTZ cameras from one unit. This includes Atomos and non-Atomos models. In turn, the controller can fit both small studio setups and larger live production environments.
Atomos A-Eye Controller Pro interface and operation
At the center of the controller is a 7-inch HD touchscreen. Atomos says the display gives operators clear visual feedback and straightforward navigation.
The company also highlights the Visual AI control knob. According to Atomos, this control replaces deeper menu structures with faster real-time adjustments. As a result, operators can work more directly while managing shots in live environments.

Peter Barber, CEO at Atomos, said the A-Eye Controller Pro is designed to rethink PTZ control from the operator’s point of view. He said the system is intended to improve speed, accuracy, and day-to-day operation in fast-paced production settings.

Atomos says the controller includes motion path recording and playback. This allows operators to repeat complex camera moves with more precision.
The company also says the unit includes a built-in tally light for visual feedback in multi-camera setups. In addition, HDMI 2.0 4K output supports high-resolution monitoring.
Atomos A-Eye Controller Pro and IP workflows
Atomos says the A-Eye Controller Pro is fully compatible with NDI 6. Because of that, the company positions it for current and future IP-based production workflows.
According to Atomos, this support gives the controller more flexibility as production needs change over time. The company says the system is built to support evolving PTZ and IP production environments.
