PlayBox Neo Highlights New Broadcast Technologies at 2024 NAB Show

PlayBox Neo reported a high turnout at the 2024 NAB Show, which took place in mid-April at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

This year marked the 101st edition of the event, drawing close to 1,300 exhibitors and over 65,000 registered participants.

New Product Features

Several products received updates:

  • AirBox Neo-20: Now includes a graphic mixer optimized for 4K-UHD, video resizing tools, enhanced logo transition features, and a full 1:1 mirror mode.
  • Capture Suite: Enhanced with XMP file support for better integration with Adobe Premiere.
  • Channel-in-a-Box: Continues to offer comprehensive tools for HD or UHD channel operation, now with improved playout automation and content ingest capabilities.
  • Media Gateway: Expanded to support 1:1 aspect ratio video at resolutions up to 3840×3840 and frame rates from 25 to 60 fps, along with new audio visualization features.

All four products now also support SMPTE ST 2110 for improved IP-based connectivity.

  • Cloud2TV: This cloud-native service now features an advanced search function and the ability to import custom CSV databases, enhancing its appeal for media content management.
