GatesAir AirWatch365 Edge Gateway at NAB Show 2026

GatesAir will use NAB Show 2026 to introduce AirWatch365, a managed service for broadcast transmission monitoring and support.

The company will also present the AirWatch365 Edge Gateway, an on-premises appliance that connects transmitters and related infrastructure to the AirWatch365 platform. GatesAir will demonstrate both at Booth C1046.

The new offering expands the company’s global services strategy. It combines cloud-based aggregation with secure site-level data collection to improve visibility, reliability, and support response.

AirWatch365 and GatesAir Care

AirWatch365 is available through the wider GatesAir Care program. The company describes it as a 24/7 Network Operations Center-based service for outsourced monitoring, diagnostics, and support.

According to GatesAir, the service continuously collects telemetry, correlates alarms, and applies analytics across multiple sites. This allows engineering teams to identify developing problems earlier and respond before on-air performance is affected.

Raymond Miklius, Vice President of Technology at GatesAir, said the company is focused on giving broadcasters a reliable and scalable way to monitor and support distributed transmission infrastructure. He said AirWatch365 combines centralized visibility, structured analytics, and expert support to help maintain consistent on-air operations.

Cloud platform and Edge Gateway architecture

GatesAir says AirWatch365 uses a cloud-based server layer as the main aggregation point. At the site level, the AirWatch365 Edge Gateway collects and normalizes operational data from transmitters, exciters, and environmental systems.

The company says this includes key indicators such as power levels, temperatures, and signal conditions. The system then sends that data securely to the AirWatch365 platform, where it is aggregated, analyzed, and displayed through configurable dashboards.

Multi-site monitoring and local continuity

According to GatesAir, this architecture allows broadcasters to manage alarms, performance metrics, and reporting across multiple sites. At the same time, it preserves local autonomy and fail-safe operation if a site is temporarily disconnected.

The company says the system goes beyond basic alarm monitoring. It also includes telemetry, alarm correlation, and analytics across sites. GatesAir support teams use this data to monitor trends, identify issues faster, and respond more effectively when conditions move outside normal thresholds.

Custom dashboards and alert control

GatesAir says AirWatch365 also supports configurations based on each broadcaster’s operational needs. These include customizable dashboards, site groupings, and user-defined alarm thresholds.

According to the company, this approach helps reduce alarm fatigue while making sure that RF, power, and environmental issues generate useful alerts when needed.

Scale, security, and resilience

GatesAir says AirWatch365 is designed for single stations, regional groups, and multi-market networks. It supports both radio and television transmission systems as well as related infrastructure.

The company says the AirWatch365 Edge Gateway uses secure outbound connectivity to the cloud platform and follows current IT security practices. It also limits access to approved monitored equipment. In addition, the architecture keeps local systems operating during network disruptions and synchronizes data once connectivity returns.

NAB Show 2026 demonstration

GatesAir says AirWatch365 will be available globally beginning this spring. At NAB Show 2026, the company will demonstrate both the service and the AirWatch365 Edge Gateway at Booth C1046 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
