PlayBox Neo Playout and IP at NAB Show 2026

PlayBox Neo will present the latest updates to PlayBox Neo Suite at NAB Show 2026. At Booth N1425, the company will focus on tools for on-premises, cloud, and IP-based workflows.

PlayBox Neo says the new release is designed to improve security, integration, and management in multi-user environments.

The company will demonstrate the updated PlayBox Neo Suite throughout the April 18-22 show in Las Vegas. According to PlayBox Neo, the new version helps broadcasters and media organizations work more efficiently in hybrid operations.

One of the main updates is a new role-based user management system. PlayBox Neo says this allows administrators to define who can access specific tools and functions across the platform.

The company says this is important in production environments where operators, editors, and engineers work at the same time. As a result, teams get stronger security, clearer accountability, and better day-to-day workflow control.

PlayBox Neo has also added support for Active Directory integration through LDAP with SSL encryption. The company says this allows organizations to manage logins and permissions through existing IT systems instead of separate credentials.

According to PlayBox Neo, this improves security and simplifies user management. It also helps broadcast operations align more closely with enterprise IT standards.

PlayBox Neo at NAB Show 2026 with Multiviewer updates

PlayBox Neo says it has optimized the Multiviewer to reduce bandwidth usage by up to 30 percent. The company says this is especially useful in remote production and cloud environments where bandwidth may be limited or expensive.

By lowering data use without reducing video quality, the system is intended to support more stable monitoring, faster response times, and lower operating overhead.

PlayBox Neo at NAB Show 2026 with EditShare and ingest

PlayBox Neo has expanded support for EditShare. The company says this helps media files stay identified and tracked across systems such as newsroom software, automation systems, and playout servers.

The company has also updated the ingest workflow. Media can now register automatically and become available for editing while recording is still in progress. As a result, teams can reduce turnaround time and prepare content faster for live news and sports production.

Additional updates include support for both physical and virtual GPI. PlayBox Neo says this allows triggers to come from hardware devices or software-based workflows.

The company has also added support for the AJA KONA IP25 IP converter card. According to PlayBox Neo, this enables compatibility with SMPTE ST 2110 and supports integration into next-generation broadcast environments. Support for SMPTE ST 2022-7 is also included to help maintain signal delivery during network problems.

PlayBox Neo at NAB Show 2026 with modular playout tools

Van Duke, Director of U.S. Operations at PlayBox Neo, said the company’s NAB Show 2026 presentation is focused on helping teams work more efficiently in real environments. He said the updates are aimed at better performance, simpler integration, and stronger security in daily operations.

PlayBox Neo says its solutions are built on modular products and services. The company says users can adapt them to different channel playout requirements, from ingest and scheduling to transmission.
