Elie Roukoz, Vice President, Broadcast Operations at AFG – Asia Football Group, has agreed to participate in the Gulf & MENA Decision-Makers Forum 2026 as a Founding Member, contributing to the development of the Forum’s professional Circle and its working principles.
The invitation-only Forum will take place on October 5, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the NEP/CT facility in Dubai Investment Park 2, Dubai, UAE.

The Gulf & MENA Decision-Makers Forum 2026 is being developed as a platform for direct discussion among senior broadcasters, sports organizations, rights holders, production companies, technology providers, consultants, and media executives responsible for technology, infrastructure, operations, and monetization.
The initial principles for the Circle are a starting point, not a final framework. They will be discussed with the Founding Members and refined collectively, aiming to build a practical structure that reflects the priorities of senior media and production decision-makers across the Gulf and wider MENA region.
Roukoz’s participation brings a broadcast-operations perspective from the football media sector. His role at AFG – Asia Football Group places him close to the operational requirements of live sports media, including reliability, coordination, distribution, and service delivery across complex event environments.
His participation follows other confirmed Forum announcements, including Omar Pleite Guerra of Mediapro Middle East and Sarkis Semaan of LBCI.

Forum Focus: Practical Decisions and Regional Priorities
The Forum program will address artificial intelligence, cloud and IP infrastructure, remote production, broadcast graphics, real-time data, workflow automation, future television facilities, audience engagement, media monetization, and the operational demands of large-scale sports and entertainment production.
The format centers on structured discussion rather than conventional product presentations. Participants will examine how technology choices affect reliability, scalability, production quality, workflow efficiency, and return on investment.
Yusuf Mohammed Buti, CEO, Founder & Managing Director of Harbor House for Management, Media, and Digital Services Consulting, will moderate one of the Forum’s roundtable discussions. The Forum’s Strategic Chair is Ammar Hina, Business Development Director at NEP Middle East & Asia.
