The Gulf & MENA Decision-Makers Forum 2026 is being developed as a platform for direct discussion among senior broadcasters, sports organizations, rights holders, production companies, technology providers, consultants, and media executives responsible for technology, infrastructure, operations, and monetization.
Shaping the Circle with Founding Members
The initial principles for the Circle have been developed as a starting point rather than a final framework. They will be discussed with the Founding Members and refined collectively, with the aim of building a practical structure that reflects the priorities of senior media and production decision-makers across the Gulf and wider MENA region.
Omar Pleite Guerra: “Technology Should Serve the Story, Not Replace It”
Pleite Guerra’s participation brings the perspective of an executive working directly in regional production and media operations. His role as General Manager at Mediapro Middle East places him at the intersection of live production, sports broadcasting, operational delivery, technology strategy, and the commercial realities of the regional market.
In a previous TFT1957 interview, Pleite Guerra discussed the role of technology in modern media production and argued for an approach in which technology supports editorial and production objectives rather than becoming an end in itself. That perspective aligns with the Forum’s emphasis on practical workflows, measurable outcomes, and direct exchange between decision-makers and technology providers.
Bahrain’s Yusuf Mohammed Buti Named Roundtable Moderator for Gulf & MENA Decision-Makers Forum 2026
Forum Focus: Practical Decisions and Regional Priorities
The Forum program will address artificial intelligence, cloud and IP infrastructure, remote production, broadcast graphics, real-time data, workflow automation, future television facilities, audience engagement, media monetization, and the operational demands of large-scale sports and entertainment production.
The format is designed around structured discussion rather than conventional product presentations. Participants will examine how technology choices affect reliability, scalability, production quality, workflow efficiency, and return on investment.
Yusuf Mohammed Buti, CEO, Founder & Managing Director of Harbor House for Management, Media, and Digital Services Consulting, will moderate one of the Forum’s roundtable discussions. The Forum’s Strategic Chair is Ammar Hina, Business Development Director at NEP Middle East & Asia.

Building a Long-Term Industry Network
The Forum is intended to support long-term cooperation among regional decision-makers and international technology companies, while creating a setting where participants can discuss real operational requirements and market priorities.
As a Founding Member, Omar Pleite Guerra will take part not only in the Forum itself but also in shaping the principles of the Circle as it develops. The objective is to establish a professional framework that can evolve through the input of its members rather than being defined in advance by the organizers.
The Gulf & MENA Decision-Makers Forum is organized by TFT1957.com, with NEP Middle East & Asia serving as Strategic Partner.
