Imagine Communications IP and Cloud Workflows at NAB Show 2026

At NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas, Imagine Communications will focus on new developments across its Make and Monetize portfolio.

The company’s NAB presentation centers on software-based tools for IP and cloud-enabled workflows, multisite media operations, and advertising management. The solutions are designed to help media companies update operations, simplify workflows, and improve business performance.

Prismon and IP-Hybrid Monitoring

One of the main additions is Prismon, the newest product in Imagine Communications’ multiviewer portfolio. Prismon adds master control and cloud functionality alongside the low-latency production capabilities of the SNP Multiviewer.

The platform can be deployed on premises or in the cloud. It works as a software-defined multiviewer and A/V monitoring system for production, playout, distribution, and streaming environments. Its architecture supports large-scale signal monitoring across multiple mosaics and combines SDI, ST 2110, ST 2022-6, and OTT sources in one environment. The Prismon control center gives operators a single interface for managing displays.

SNP-XS for Space-Constrained IP Environments

Imagine Communications has also expanded its Selenio Network Processor range with SNP-XS. The new system is intended for installations where space is limited but full performance is still required.

SNP-XS is designed for edge deployments, remote routing endpoints, mobile production, facility expansion, and other compact environments. It supports SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-6 while remaining compatible with SDI workflows. The platform offers flexible I/O options and supports all 16 existing SNP applications, including UHD and HDR conversion, multiviewer operation, master control, and JPEG XS.

XVR for Ingest, Playout and Origination

Imagine Communications is also highlighting XVR playout engines for ingest, playout, and unified origination. The company positions XVR as suitable for operations of different sizes, including ST 2110 and cloud-hosted environments.

Built on Linux and data center technologies, XVR is intended to support repeatable and secure deployment. It is available through flexible pricing models, including usage-based subscriptions. The platform supports SDI, 12G SDI, ST 2110, TS, and SRT. It also plays major formats such as XAVC, ProRes, and DNxHD without requiring transcoding. Imagine says XVR is among the first playout engines to use the Intel Ethernet E810 Network Adapter with Intel Tiber Broadcast Suite components for ST 2110 performance on COTS platforms.

OSI-X and Advertising Operations

Another focus at NAB Show 2026 is OSI-X, the latest version of Imagine Communications’ OSI Traffic and Billing system. OSI-X uses a modern technology stack, a browser-based interface, and cloud-native architecture.

The system is designed for North American broadcasters working across linear, streaming, and connected TV workflows. It includes SAML-compliant single sign-on for security and supports TV Interface Practices standards. According to the company, OSI-X is intended to make ad operations more efficient and to support gradual modernization in a Total TV environment.

Executive Comment

Steve Reynolds, CEO of Imagine Communications, said media companies attending NAB Show are looking for practical solutions to audience fragmentation, hybrid workflows, multisite operations, and the shift toward IP and cloud. He said the company’s NAB messaging is centered on operational outcomes and business needs rather than individual product promotion.
