Sony at MPTS 2024: Showcasing New Technologies in Broadcast and Cinema

Sony is set to participate in the Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), occurring on May 15-16 at Olympia London.

This year, the company will emphasize its connected ecosystem of tools suitable for various sectors including broadcast, live production, and cinema. The focus will be on demonstrating cloud-based workflows and remote production capabilities.

Exhibit Details

Sony’s Media Solutions team will be available to discuss their extensive experience in managing content, workflows, and devices for major global media and entertainment organizations. Highlighted offerings will include the Networked Live portfolio, which facilitates the connection and shared use of production resources across locations; the Creators’ Cloud, which supports cloud-based media production; and the PDT-FP1, a new portable data transmitter for fast, efficient video and image data transfer via 5G networks.

Product Displays

Sony will also display a variety of other products, such as the FR7 Cinema Line camera, notable for its utility in live streaming, and the BURANO, a high-end digital cinema camera. Additionally, visitors can explore Sony’s latest production monitors from the PVM and LMD series and the HDC-3500V system camera, which includes a built-in Variable ND filter for superior control.

Virtual Production Innovations

The Crystal LED VERONA display, a leading solution for in-camera VFX used in virtual production, will be showcased at Big Pic Media’s stand H51.
